- Registration to Sudoku Shack - Why?
- It seems that some hackers enjoy ruining everyone's fun in the site. To prevent those guys from doing their nasty business, security measures were put in the site. These security measures are optional, for people who want their score more secure. Click here to join the Sudoku Shack community.
- I forgot my password, what can I do?
- Go here and follow the instructions.
- I got no activation email after I registered by submitting the registration form - what gives?
- Hotmail users - it has been reported that hotmail treats the Shack's emails as junk, so that message is probably waiting for you there. Even if you're not using Hotmail, your email account might be set on high security level, so that activation mail might be ignored by your email server. You can send yourself a new activation mail by clicking Go here and following the instructions.
- I dont know how to play Sudoku
- No problem, go here and start learning how to Sudoku.

- No, really, this board is NOT solvable!

Yes it is! most of the boards on site have one and only one solution. Some boards have more that one solution. The heading of each board states the number of solutions the board has.
If the puzzle seems imposible to solve, just start over and re-think your steps.
Furthermore, please do NOT send the site staff's emails about solving Sudokus - we are not sudoku specialists.
- Are there solutions to the boards on your site?
- No, since there's a scoring system.
- Some boards seem visually messed up - how come?

There's a known problem, in some web clients, with some of the 81 boxes of the boards, which sometimes appear thinner than other boxes.
This problem is known to be solved by adjusting your screen resolution to at least 1024x768, and sometimes by just refreshing the page.
- How do I use the playing board?

- Use the keyboard to put digits in one of the 81 boxes of the board
- You can also use the mouse to choose digits on the left and click the boxes of hte boards to put numbers in them
- When you're done click 'Submit this board'
- You can write up to 3 digits per square, in case you need 'guessing digits'
- Guessing digits are entered only with the keyboard, since clicking a box will replace its content
- Your score is doubled for every level you go up, so solving a single 'insane' Soduko will get you 8 points!
- The site is best viewed in Internet Explorer and Mozila FireFox in a 1024x768 resolution.
- Insane Soduko boards may require guessing!
- What are deleted boards?
- Those are old boards that had more than one solution or were duplicated, so they were removed. Usualy you will see the veteran players with those deleted boards
